This series of questions will walk you through the basic process of interpreting the meaning of almost any dream. Simply answer the questions and be as honest and forthcoming with yourself as possible. These questions are designed to help you self-interpret your dream. If after you have gone through these questions and the interpretation of your dream still eludes you, I encourage you to schedule a coaching session. Sessions are $97 per dream.
- WRITE OUT YOUR DREAM IN AS MUCH DETAIL AS POSSIBLE. DON’T LEAVE ANYTHING OUT.
- NAME EACH PERSON IN THE DREAM AND WHAT THEY WERE DOING.
- DESCRIBE EACH CHARACTER’S PERSONALITY AS THEY ARE IN REAL LIFE. – I.E “Natalie is a very outgoing person.”
- COMPARE EACH CHARACTER’S REAL PERSONALITY WITH HOW THEY WERE IN THE DREAM. – I.E “In reality Ben is a very caring person, but in the dream, he was distraught and unconsolable.”
- NAME ANY ANIMALS IN YOUR DREAM. WHAT EMOTION DOES EACH ANIMAL MAKE YOU FEEL? – I.E. “Dogs scare me.”
- NAME SPECIFIC OBJECTS OR SYMBOLS THAT WERE SIGNIFICANT AND DO A WORD ASSOCIATION. – I.E “There was a hammer on the table. Hammers mean strength and hard work to me.”
- NAME SPECIFIC PLACES THAT WERE SIGNIFICANT AND DO A WORD ASSOCIATION. – I.E “I was in an old church. Churches remind me of rules.”
- WHAT WAS THE MAIN FEELING OF THE DREAM?
- WHAT WAS THE MAIN ACTION OF THE DREAM?
- WHERE IN YOUR REAL LIFE DO YOU FIND ANY CORRELATION BETWEEN YOUR FEELINGS OR CIRCUMSTANCES AND THE DETAILS OF THE DREAM?
